Ask the old Farmer

I’ve never heard this expression before but so few of us communicate by letter anymore that this little historical nugget is extra special. I’d be curious to know if anyone reading this is familiar with “back”ing an envelope.

The home hint is a solid one - the best way to remove most stains is to soak in cool water and (depending on the origin of the stain) use a little baking soda or vinegar to gently lift the stain out. It’s a tried and true and pretty gentle method for stain removal.
