Freezing Fish

Who knew?! Adding fresh water and a pinch of baking soda after defrosting frozen fish helps keep that oily taste away!

My fish comes from the supermarket but I know my mom grew up fishing with her dad. I remember visiting “the woods” and mom and grampa would go fishing together even when I was little. I remember they brought some back for us to eat, too!

I think when you catch it yourself, it always seems to taste better.
